NOWORK, a collective comprising Tuomas Korpijaakko and Pierre Le Hors, gathers and recirculates various forms of transcription:
found photographs, facsimiles, correspondence, forged or re-staged artwork, among others. Beginning in 2010 by distributing a series
of self-published, anonymous booklets, NOWORK has embraced the aleatory nature of encounters in the public realm. Recent work
expands these concerns in layered installations – part theater, labyrinth, and archeological site – that rely on the shifting viewpoints of
multiple narrators to map a set of relations over time.
